09 NBA DRAFT

With only days until the 09' NBA Draft, it is becoming more and more clear that the Golden State Warriors are having trouble deciding who they will draft. I believe it will come down to the #6 pick. depending on who goes ahead of them, I think even though Jennings is a cocky, arrogant player, I do believe he is one of the best picks in the draft. I wouldn't mind seeing Flynn play for the warriors as well, but only time will tell. Come on Nelly, make a good pick and don't make another mistake by breaking up some of the chemistry that is heading in the right direction. Go Warriors!!!

Nuggets too much for Lakers

Okay, if you watched the Denver Nuggets beat the Lakers Monday night, you witnessed how team basketball is played. Denver out rebounded, out shot and simply out muscled the Lakers to a convincing win at home. Okay I will say that I was not too sure if Denver was going to win the way Carmelo was playing, but when you have a bench that can step it up in his absence, then you have an unstoppable team! No one person can beat a team that is running on all cyclinders, nor can one man have the highest points on his team and think that their team is going to win. The Birdman, awesome, i would take him on my team any day of the week. J.R. Smith, streaky, a little unstable at times, but will come to play regardless of his struggles. J.R. Smith, easily the man of the night. It seemed that no one came to play on the Lakers side, the bench was weak, Pao Gasol was not himself getting the ball in the paint and Lamar Odom seemed well intimidated by the Nuggets. I will say this tonight, I say that the Nuggets will go into L.A. in a few days and steal a win and finish Kobe and Lakers back home in game Six! thats my prediction and I am sticking with it. let me know what you think. peace out!

Lakers VS Denver

Okay folks, here we go, you got the two best teams in the west meeting up in a few days, in one hand you have the dominant Lakers and in the other you have the spoiler, the team I am going with, the nuggz! Okay, tell me how Billips was able to lead this team to the Western Conference Finals? The best thing to ever happen to Denver since Carmelo Anthony. I think the Nuggets have the better team all around, and are going to dominate the Lakers. I do have to give credit to Kobe, you can't help but respect the guy, but unless they play team basketball, they are not going to win. Lamar Odom seems to be healthier and ready to play like himself. Andrew Bynum, wow F U Kobe in your face talking about I don't want that guy on my team, guess what Kobe, Bynum is legit if he can stay healthy, and has more than proved his worth. So who do you think has what it takes to win the West? I still Take the Nuggets!

Chris Mullin "Thank You"

You know, when I first heard the news that the Golden State Warriors were not going to extend Chris Mullins contract I was honestly dissapointed with the franchise for making this decision.
I grew up watching Mullin play, succeed and recover from his alcohol abuse. For those fans who know about him and his history, I can only say this, sometimes the owners and or bosses have no clue what they are doing, maybe you have a boss at work who is in charge only because they have a piece of paper that says they have a degree or are in charge by default. The only way to run a franchise, business, or any other organization is to be on the front lines, to really know what players needs and wants are, to have that communication with the coach. Granted, Nellie loves to be in control of the whole thing but in this case I think the owners are really making a mistake at this point in the Warriors current roster. I believe the team has a really good shot at Making it a 40+ season next year, they have good talent, a decent bench and would benefit from a trade and or the draft. Chris Mullin I know would have made the right decisions with the upcoming draft and trades. I think what hurts the most is the fact that Mullin is widely respected by the local fans, two years ago he made his presence known, maybe not by speaking a load but by casually walking the stadium. His no Mark Cuban, but in a more mature, and classy matter. I would just like to say Thank you Chris, I am a big fan, and hope that this does not prevent you from either coaching or running a future team, no matter what, Golden State fans will always support you.

Z / Zilla / Sports

Good day all, my first blog. Finally.
for anyone that would like to discuss Nissan Z's, Godzilla (GTR) and or Sports, I welcome all comments. first and foremost, I am obviously a Z fan, since the first time I laid eyes on that old school 78' 280z, one of the most responsive and fun car to drive in the nor-cal hills of lake berryessa. I fell in love with it's looks, handling and overall ugliness that makes it the real deal.
Lets face it, a lot of bang for the buck. Even today, how is it that Japanese automakers can compete with the best in the world, whether its the Z or the GTR, in my own personal opinion, yeah ferrari, lambo and others have nice bodies, very clean lines, but when a substantially more inexpensive car can keep up and or beat them, it amazes me to see what is truly possible for car makers to accomplish once they decide to make a car as efficient and as radical as the GTR. What do you guys think, honestly as to why we as consumers have made it okay for big companies to charge what they want? Would you spend 85K on a porsche or would you spend it on a GTR, and why your choice? lets face it, for you car guys, i just want to point out, i am a fan of fast cars, whether its porsche, ferrari, audi, whatever, i love them all, but as a person like everyone else, I will probably never afford the high priced stallions. to that I welcome what you have to say. lets get something going. thanks,
